Cheadle Area Guide
Living in Cheadle
Cheadle, bursting with beautiful architecture, stunning green spaces and welcoming neighbours. Families love a visit to Bruntwood Park with its range of sporting facilities, including the 18-hole par 3 pitch and putt course, many an hour has been passed there.
The playground delights with its adventure and fun, as does the sneaky ice-cream that bring smiles to the faces of young and old alike. The beautiful original Victorian conservatory is now a restaurant and the ideal place to relax whilst taking in the gardens and all that the park has to offer. Oh, and don’t forget the world-class BMX race track – but make sure you’re wearing protective clothing!

One of the most wonderful areas to call home
When it comes to properties, there’s something for everyone, from spacious townhouses, to detached homes with extensive gardens, cute terraces full of charm and character, and contemporary apartments that embrace modern living. Cheadle is known for having a number of great schools in the area, both primary and secondary, and a wealth of choices for further and higher education.
You are spoilt for choice
You are spoilt for choice
With so many independent stores for you to indulge in – it’s wonderful to see these small businesses thrive and continue to be supported by the local community. On the first Saturday of every month you need to head down to the Makers Market, where the finest of local crafts, food and drink are showcased, including Daddy Cools Chilli Sauce, which we can personally highly recommend. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat out, our team believe that Indian Tiffin Room is one of the best restaurants in the area, and make sure you try the Turquoise Restaurant & Bar. For a bacon butty for breakfast, you can’t beat the team at Jacksons, next door to our office.
Commuting in Cheadle
Due to its closeness to Manchester city centre, this is a popular area for commuters who take advantage of the local transport, and the A34 and M56. Manchester Airport can be reached from Gatley station, which is in walking distance of Cheadle Village, giving you access to Europe and the rest of the world. The area is blessed with its own John Lewis as well as two out-of-town shopping centres that include a Sainsburys, Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
